Clown Marquee

Zorro

Zorro was embossed on stems but has also been found without embossing. The Zorro on the left, mask is over the nose. This version also has a 2,6 patent number, an (H) under the hinge hole on the left side. On the right side "© WALT DISNEY PRODUCTION".

The version on the right has a patent number 3,9 with no markings under the hinge on the left side. The right side has "WALT DISNEY © PRODUCTION"

Early Donald Duck.  Both of these examples are from Hong Kong and each has patent number 3,942,683.. The one on the left has extra holes above hinge and on front of bill.. These holes were instituted in order to produce Uncle Scrooge.   Additional differences between these two dispensers is in the navy cap.  The cap on the left has a taller base than the one on the right.

Goofy

Here's an interesting Goofy variation. Other than the distinctive color hats, you will note that Goofy's head has been revised at the base of the hat. The one on the left (Hungary) has what looks like a flat head base while the one on the right (Austria) the head is round at the base.

Yosetime Sam

Yosemite Sam, this variation comes with a purpose. The short whiskered dispenser (right) was constructed due in part to the European market which has body parts for their dispensers. The long whiskers versions (left) does not accept body parts so PEZ® revised him. The long whiskered version is the US issue.
