CURRENT EVENTS-December 1999

Gary Bright  is thinking about recording some demos and will perform again with THE IMPOSSIBILES for 3 days at the MEADOW LANDS in March 2000!
Robert Lance from what we now understand, is still trying to obtain tape copies for himself, from all of the PEYOTE COYOTES recording sessions!
Thomas Lepold being a COYOTE has gone to his head and last we heard, is again out looking for something else to do, he wants to produce porno films!
David Raupp is still trying to get artwork and distribution for his video and is not answering any of his fan mail, and is not accepting any phone calls whatsoever!

The PEYOTE COYOTES were at one time planning a trip to CAIRO for this month, at the end of 1999 to shoot a feature length promotional film on 16 milimeter film. We are sorry to inform you that these plans have now been put on indefinate hold! As of this month December 1999, there are still plans to use some of the unreleased Jam min' With Leroy Sessions on CARDIOLOGY TWO! In 1998, Tommy and Gary tried to do an old cowboy song with just an accordian and an acoustic guitar, The Old Chisholm Trail, but nothing was ever committed to tape. Speaking of committed, news has just reached us that Robby is back on the streets, and now today he has finally launched himself into cyberspace, look out! Hide your daughters, hide your sisters, and hide your wives!!!! He has just recently stated that he has writen three new songs for the next album, but failed to disclose the names or nature of these yet. Last we heard, he told us he had written a new song., The Fe-mail Man and he has threatened to RECORD it !!! He is also planning a ground breaking new promotional digital video shoot starring David in the lead role. Pre-production for both the recording sessions and the video, if all goes better than expected, was planned for sometime in mid to late August 1999. David was recently contacted, finally! He has been deeply involved in video production for several years now, and has always said that he wants to do some kind of new video project as well. The project he has in mind is called something like "Electric Greentree Pinwheel", the video was made with several thousand dollars worth of video effects generators and processors. In January 1998, he spent a week in the studio at COYOTE HOUSE, with Tom and Gary trying to come up with a soundtrack for his video. David acted in a no budget Sci-Fi flick called Jar 38, filmed on location in Fallon, Nevada back in 1992. We would like to use clips from it and present them here for download just as soon as they can be located. More recently, David also spent a couple of weeks on a feature film, shot out on the Calico Ghost Town Lake Bed, in Barstow, California the title of the film is "From Dusk Till Dawn". So maybe with any luck, David and Robby will collaborate on The Fe-mail Man together? As usual, it is very unlikely that they will ever be able to come to any real compromise. Tommy has also expressed his intentions of doing some film making of some sort in the near future. He has expressed his desire to make a cheap porno film called "Cock Pit One". He at one time was restoring the recently recovered antique piano that was stolen and badly damaged back in 1995. Tommy  was also working on the exterior design and the new studio and live end echo chamber being built into the main headquarters at COYOTE HOUSE. Gary was thinking about recording a remake of THE WHO's Substitute, but this never happened as he had decided to wait for the construction of the new studio to be finished, ownership of which was transferred into his name by the County Recorders Office in June 1998. He is now preparing for his yearly weekend at the Meadowlands in March 2000. If you can make it, try to attended you will certainly have a wonderful time, I know that he will!
