Finding Lost Hamsters
Hamster loss, very common, This why you should know some nice traps for finding your hamster. The method I most like is the bucket and books. What you do is you have a bucket, which is deeper than your hamster climbing height. Have books leading up to it in steps. In the bucket you can have bedding, food and any other treats. Keep this against the wall because hamsters tend to move along walls. Your hamster will climb up and would do anything for food and then will jump into the bucket and then can't come back out.
The second method is to put a small amount of food in each room and close all the doors and leave it overnight and the room with food missing is the room with the hamster and so now you can set up the trap in that room. If you have a dog or cat leave the cage open with food in because your hamster who will get so scared will realise the cage is the best place. But keep the cat and dog out of the suspect room. |
