How to avoid hamster illnesses
Good hygiene is important in avoiding illnesses and I know you don't want a ill hamster, do you? To keep your hamster in the best conditions for avoiding illnesses you must:
Clean the cage out each week missing no places
Maintain a constant temperature in the room with your hamster ranging within Four Degrees Celcius.(18-26.7oC)
Clean out food pots and water bottles each day
Store hamster mix in a dry airtight container in a dark place
Wash hands before handling your hamsters if you have more than one.
Make sure the room is well ventilated.
Make sure you give fresh fruits and vegetables in small amounts only.
If you have a cold or flu try to keep well away from the hamster (your hamster can catch your cold) |
