Good Food This food is becoming quite popular, I have been able to find it anywhere. Most if not all feed stores and pet shops will carry this stuff. I have found it to be a good cat food, cats seem to eat the hard very well and take to it quickly. Dogs on the other hand are a little more picky of it probably because I have noticed that the soft and dry food lacks moisture and is rather bland. However Nutro Max brands use all sorts of varieties of "Meal" in there ingredients I find it to be much better then Iams, Science diet or the supermarket crap. At least they use Vitamin E as a preservative aid rather then chemicals. And they DO NOT use by-products. Thats at least what I have noticed in some of the foods they offer. However "Meal" contains very little nutritional value and will increase the amount of food your pet eats for the fact there body lacks nutrients. The body is starving for vitamins so the pets must eat more of the pet food to compensate. I have also observed this when watching my pets eat any food containing meal, by-products, etc. So if you do not want to fix your own fresh foods, this food works nice for cats. Just be sure to add something else once in a while that adds a bit more nutritional value. Thanks for reading Cheyenne |
