F E A T U R E T O P I C: "C H I C K E N S O U P"

HIGHLY recommended
In my experience I find this food to be excellent. Just recently discovered and just started using this food of Summer 2004. My persian cats do well with the soft food, as it is moist and has a very desirable flavor. This food does not contain by-products, does not contain preservative chemicals and does not contain "Meal" which is a very low protein and non nutritional source.
My cats also really love the hard food, they eat it very well and did the change easily from nutro max to this. Amy is now 8 years old and her daughter Amber is 7 and they both changed well at this age.
I find that they do not eat as much as a food that contains mostly meal. Both my cats and my dogs.

This food resembles homemade fresh foods, this stuff is just awesome, They use herbs and veggies. It contains pieces of potatoes and carrots. One thing I noticed about this food is that it has a bit more flavor to it and moistness which encourages the cat or the dog to eat it. Where as some natural processed soft or hard food is very dry and lacks very little taste. Smelling and appearing very bland. Not to many pets are fond of that type of food and do not eat it very well.

I have found my cats and dogs to eat both the hard and the soft rather well and in large quantities. I have also found this brand of food to be readily available and easy to find.

However do keep in mind that if you are transfering a pet from bad food to a more natural food it will not be easy. They are used to that junk food and will most likely not take to a more natural food easily or fast. It will have to be a gradual over time process and you will have to stop cold turkey of feeding them the junk food.

"Some ingredients of Chicken Soup Food"
- Kelp Fiber source.
- Carrots, peas, and apples Natural sourcces of vitamins, especially B vitamins.
- Dried skim milk Dairy source of proteiin and calcium.
- Cranberry powder Natural source of vittamin C and potassium. May help acidify the urine and may prevent bacteria from adhering (sticking) to the bladder wall.
- Rosemary extract Natural antioxidant aadded to help preserve the food. (A natural preservative unlike the cancer causing chemicals of ethoxyquin, BHA, BHT and Propyl Gallate that is used to preserve some foods.
- Parsley flake Natural palatability enhhancer.
- Chicory root and more.

This food is a little more spendy, but it is worth it and your animals will not eat as much to make up for the fact there body lacks nutrients. The body is starving for vitamins so the pets must eat more of the pet food. I have also observed this when watching my pets eat any food containing meal, by-products, etc.
