Film Shararat is the second movie of Samina Pirzada as a director. Her first movie as a Director was �Inteha� (popular for its music). This time once again music director of the film Shararat, Wajahat Atre, has proved himself by composing some numbers that are worth-listening.

I will give full marks to the title song Raat Ja Rahi Hai, for its lyrics as well as for the music. One desires to listen this song again and again. Basically it�s a slow duet song. The song is sung by Ameer Ali and Shabnam Majeed. Shabnam has once again proved her versatility. Her soft and sweet voice can also be listened in another song of this film, Jugnon Se Bhar Le Anchal. Again her singing partner is Ameer Ali. One solo song of Humera Chana is also there in the list, Taara Ban Kar. The people, who say that she has nothing but a loud voice, would feel the difference this time. It appears that she has learnt a lot with the passage of time. Well! Seniority speaks for itself. Now a days, the song Likhna Jaanti has been added up in TV�s weekly Lollywood chart. This song is sung by Naseebo Laal. According to Samina Pirzada, she wanted an Urdu song for her movie, which should be sung in Punjabi/Rural style and Nassebo was best for this type of song. She also added one more chorus song Khed Shapato, which also sketches the rural culture. A Basant song Ghar Ghar Basant, is a dancing song sung by the Patang Girl, Fareeha Parvaiz with Hamid Ali. The last song, Giddey De Wich, as obvious from the title is also a dancing Punjabi/Urdu number.

In the end, I would like to mention one more thing here. Recently we heard marvelous songs of the film, "Yeh Dil Aap Ka Huwa", which was appreciated by everybody. Some sources say, it�s a fact that all the film songs were sung by Indian singers who were quite experienced and talented. Furthermore the songs were recorded in London�s music recording system in DTS. Despite the fact that Samina does not have all the links Javaid Sheikh has, she has done a great job. After listening Shararat�s music sung by Pakistani singers, we can confidently say that Pakistani singer can compete internationally.
