Things To Consider

  Wooden cages and cages with widely spaced bars are not suitable

  Do not keep more than 4 hamsters in a cage (to avoid overcrowding)

  Space is important because hamsters need exercise and hiding spaces

  Exercise wheel is a necessity for hamsters

  Cage must be out of direct sunlight (especially if the cage is made of glass)

  Glass tank or commercialize cages are best choice for these small pets
