This is a privately owned riding area east of Atlanta, only a few miles from
Towns Creek. It cost $20 a day to ride this area, but is worth it concidering how much closer it is to
Atlanta and Athens than the other riding areas in Georgia. There trails range from easy to more advanced to trails
though none I saw were very difficult. There are over 20 miles of single track for dirt bikers, but beware these trails
are very tight. I did not like them as it is more work to get through them than it is fun. To me on a dirtbike I had
a lot more fun on the tight ATV trails, They remided me of the ones we would make around the house when we were younger.
Durhamtown get two thumbs up for making almost all of thier trails one way, so you can have fun and not have to worry
about a head on colision. The placed was packed the day I was there but rarely saw another person since everyone was
going the same way on the trails.
- There is camping on the grounds.
- The area also has food on the weekend.
- They also have Harescrambles
