We found ourselves looking for a hobby to pass the time during one long Canadian winter. It seemed the snow would never stop. We were interested in stained glass design, but decided we were a bit too impatient for "the real thing". We discovered the glass stains and simulated leading, and that is what you will find on these pages. The result is very similar to real stained glass, and we were pleased with the outcome of our projects. It is very difficult to photograph the designs, since any light whatsoever causes a glare. I am very much into the fantasy and mythical theme, while my husband enjoys creating wildlife designs more. We have recently branched out into other craftwork, and I have recently added pages for these designs. I am trying my hand at tole painting and various glass designs, and Pete is working with copper and galvanized wire to create windchimes and hanging dragonflies.
