Berry Pomeroy Castle

Owned by the Seymour family, Berry Pomeroy is eerily set in a forest. If you happen to visit this atmospheric place, beware of the white lady who seeks to lead men to the castles most unsafe parts.

Hever Castle, Kent

Anne Boleyn grew up at this enchanting place, and her form has been seen walking across the bridge over the river Eden. Situated in Kent.

Rochester Castle, Kent

Also to be found in Kent, the mighty remains of Rochester Castle are haunted by Lady Blanche de Warenne who walks the castle battlements.

Hermitage Castle

Blood curdling screams have been heard at Hermitage, a grim Scottish fortress once owned by the Earl of Bothwell. Also, the ghostly forms of a woman of 'majestic bearing' and a dwarf like figure have been witnessed.

Glastonbury Abbey

Frederick Bond, the architect, wrote a book called 'The Gates of Remembrance' detailing his communications with the dead monks of Glastonbury Abbey. They call themselves 'The Company of Avalon.'

Hampton Court Palace

There are several ghosts here who haunt Cardinal Wolsey's old place, the best known being the doomed Queen Catherine Howard, who runs across the Haunted Gallery heading for the chapel, as she originally did centuries previous.
