Return to Good Stuff

Sometime Never

By
Peter2001

In the land of Sometime Never
Broken promises abound
Some dance around still full of life
Others lay there on the ground

Its in the post
Of course I will
We shall marry in July

Some of them are just half-truths
Others, a downright lie

When at first we start to lie
The web we weave gets tangled
Until one day it gets so dense
We find that weve been strangled

Half a truth is still a lie
And is better left unsaid
So surprise them all and be a man
And tell the truth instead
