I've been picked up so many time's I've grown handles. (People Roll Out Tympani. That can only mean one thing...) Us: AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! Micky: Are you having a good time tonight? Us: AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH! Micky: Well, in 1967 I had the pleasure of going to England for the first time. It was there we had a party thrown for us by The Beatles. Us: AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH! It's Dudley Moore, Sting and that guy from The Sopranos!" - Me, upon seeing The Monkees together (When Peter was signing Kim's stomach, he had to lift her shirt a bit higher, so he look around and said, "Your parents here?" and his GFN said "Careful Peter, she's a minor.") Kim: I think I was just sexually assulted by a sixty year old man. Me: Shut up. That could have been me! "Of course not. We're stalking you." - Ben from Natural ( We were trying to assure him we weren't stalking him, we just happened to keep showing up. The answer to that was in his response.) Me: There weren't that many people there. Peter: How many? Like six? Me: No, more than that. Peter: Six is a lot. (I was trying to jog Peter's memory about the last time we met. It was the SSB concert and apparently six is a lot for them :) "Where's Mike?" "Yeehaw! Aw, Pick it Peter!" "We love you Mike! Aw, what? Davy!?!?" - Me, during Papa Gene's Blues Micky: It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. It was the darkest times, it was the lightest times. It was the dirtiest times, it was the cleanist times. It was the loudest times, it was the quietest times. Peter: It was an oxymoronic time. * Micky stares. Peter stares. * Micky: Big word. Micky: We can continue as soon as Peter straps on his 'ethnic insturment' Peter: You mean the banjo? Micky: No. *grins* Peter: You say that every night, and I've never gotten it. (While attempting to put together a Monkees jigsaw puzzle) Me: Where's Mike's nose? Gaaah! I bet Roo stole it... Marie (my unknowing sister): Who's Roo? Me: Nevermind... Found Davy's eyebrow! "Time to submerge, but never loose sight of the doughnut." - Mike (Don't ask me why, but it's on the Zippy webpage. He really said it at a meeting they had over making a Zippy movie. Also, he apparently has a big sign over his desk that says 'No Monkees Jokes' Sounds like Mike to me.) |
