Water can be a solid (ice), a liquid (water) or a gas (water vapour). Water can change from one state to another when it is heated or cooled. When ice melts, it changes to water. When water freezes, it changes to ice. When water evaporates, it changes to water vapour. When water condenses, it changes to water. |
