Dog's Eye View Notes From the Road

Hello:

Here's a note from off the road. I'm really writing this for the novelty of it as this is the first time I've had more than a week in the same place for over two years. I'm up in Seattle spending two weeks off before the real dog's eye view assault (in a kind and gentle way of course) on the world starts.

I hope you all had a happy new year. I spent it in Seattle watching fireworks go off at midnight and thinking fondly of the last year of touring and how many wonderful people I got to meet along the way. This year should prove to be a wondrous one for me (and for you, too, I hope) as I'm getting to do most of what I've ever hoped to do.

Next week I go out for a week of promotional stuff (basically begging radio stations to play the single "everything falls apart"--well, not begging, but you know) and then the band is off to Europe for a brief tour. We'll be in Paris, Germany, Amsterdam, London and Ireland as far as I know. After that, we'll head back to the U.S. to tour for as long as we can.

In the meantime, it's a good time to start calling your local radio stations to tell them to play "everything falls apart" and to call MTV and to tell them to play the video for the song as well. We appreciate you taking the time to remind people who we are.

Well, that's about it for now. I'll write more from the road as soon as I get a chance.

See you in 96.

Peter
