| Samiuela Tupou was the son of Semisi Tupou and Tuitui. Samiu taught at Toloa for many years and also was the Faifekau Sea in Vava'u. Akanesi was the daughter of Feleti Latu and Ema. As a minister's wife she supported her family through her unwavering faith in the Lord and her loving heart. |

| Samiu and Akanesi had five amazing children. Taniela, my father was the oldest. Ana, the only daughter was second eldest. Then came Hala, Sione, and Kotoni. Ana is married to Tevita Fa and is residing with her family in Fiji. Hala and Sione are with their families in Australia. |
