Start 2 player game and give all of the gold to one of the
characters and save the game for the same character.

Start another game with the saved character in 2
player mode and repeat the process.
Repeat as necessary.

this cheat helps you max your abilities, through the use of what i think is a glitch in the game, with as little work as possible.all you need is one elixer of either strength, magic, dexterity, or vitality and 9 regular potions.now i recommend doing this in the town to ensure that nobody attacks you.ok now heres Angels bad-ass cheat for diablo.
1)find an open space in the town.
2)go into your inventory and drop 9 potions by pressing x to lift em and square to drop em.
3)now,still in the inventory,lift the elixer by hitting x.(note that it will not let you drop it cus the max no. of items u can drop is 9.)
4)keeping the elixer lifted, hit the triangle button to exit inventory and watch as the 9 potions hit the ground.(but whats this........?the elixer has fallen too just below the potions)
5)leave the potions on the ground, pick up the elixer, and go into your inventory.(and looky there.......now you have two elixers.)
6)drink one elixer and repeat the process over and over until you reach max abilities.
