all the things I never knew I could gain
the power in me so amazing to see

My mind is so confused its hard to say
what I am thinking every moment of the day
Don't think my friend its time to rest
Give your self a break you deserve the best
You say that it will get better as I grow
Right now I am saying I have no where to go
Take you time and you will see
Its a one day at a time thats all it can be

All I want to do is scream and shout
Try writing your pain on a writing pad
You will start to see that things aren't so bad
Isn't it neat how I can repeat the things I have held so tightly
To write it down I can do this nightly
You see it isn't as bad as you thought
Now rest my friend you have what you got
