	The Care Clown Program is intended to assist in improving the quality of life for patients, families and health care professionals. Care Clowns are trained volunteers who work in the health care setting to help reduce pain, enhance communication and relieve stress through humour. Care Clowns always ask if they can visit and those visits are short so as not to tire patients/clients. Please let your nurse or the Care Clowns know whether you want a visit.
		The South West Health Care Clowns are a group located in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, which is dedicated to entertaining sick people in the hospital. They are all volunteers and this website was set up to provide the public with information about the group. The site was also set up for the volunteers to see their schedule online.
