We went on an awesome roadtrip this past summer during part of July and August. We did it partly as a celebration for finishing our degrees at BYU. Peter finished his bachelors in Microbiology and Kristy finished her masters in agronomy, soil science. Mostly we went because we realized that this would likely be the only opportunity in our lives to do such a trip. We drove 7,000 miles, visited 26 states, replaced four tires, visited many friends and relatives, and had many unforgettable experiences. Our route basically went East from Utah to New York City, then South to Atlanta, then West to Los Angeles, and finally northeast to Utah again. It turns out you can see an amazing quantity of things in three short weeks if you put your mind to it. The pictures don't do it justice, but enjoy them anyway. They are in no particular order so try to figure out where we are in each picture. |
