Peterhead BC 11-3 Formartine BC

Peterhead started strongly and the Formartine keeper had to look lively to cut out a dangerous cross from Aidan Innes in the first minute of the game.
Peterhead broke the deadlock in the 10th minute when a corner kick by Scott Leckie was headed in by Steven Davidson.
Steven Davidson then turned provider and his cross was met by Jack Mclean who was unlucky to see his well struck shot go over the bar.
Aidan Innes then finished off a great run up the wing with a great pass to Kyle Ritchie who coolly slotted the ball past the diving keeper.
Formartine replied with a goal after the Peterhead defender dived into the tackle and the centre forward ran by and shot into the bottom corner.
Peterhead came storming back when a long kick out from Andrew Buchan was controlled by Jack Mclean and his pass was finished off in clinical style by the impressive Aidan Innes.
The game was end to end at this stage and Formartine struck again from a corner kick when their forward headed into the top corner.
Aidan Innes who was starring in this game beat two defenders before slotting home a terrific strike into the bottom corner.
Jack Mclean then saw his flashing header well saved by the Formartine keeper as Peterhead were controlling the game now.
Scott Leckie then latched on to a pass from Kyle Ritchie and he waltzed by the defender and found the bottom corner to put Peterhead up 5-2.
Scott LEckie then crossed over to Shaun Anderson who struck well at the ball but it just scraped over the bar.
Half time 5-2
Peterhead came out in the second half with a few changes to freshen up the tired legs and went further ahead when that man Aidan Innes went on a run and completed his hat trick with a super strike past the keeper.
Kieran Bruce then fired over a great free kick which the Formartine defenders were pleased to scramble out for a corner.
Shaun Walker then floated in at the far post to score off another pass in from Aidan Innes.
A good move from Scott Walker and Connor Wilson was finished off by Jack Mclean who ran on and scored number eight for Peterhead.
Steven Davidson then latched on to a through ball from Aidan Innes and fired it hard and low past the overworked Formartine keeper.
Peterhead who were taking their feet off the pedal were caught out with a through ball and the alert Formartine striker nipped in and scored.
Jack Mclean went straight into attack from the kick off and the keeper could only parry his shot into the path of Scott Leckie who tapped it in for number 10.
Peterhead rounded off the game with a splendid twenty yard shot from Scott Walker which flew into the top corner.
Man of the Match this week went to the very impressive Aidan Innes.
But every player in the team did their part in the victory.
Peterhead now go onto the final play off against their old foes Ferryhill to decide who goes to the Top Aberdeen League.
Peterhead travel to Kintore next week to play their next round in the Scottish Cup
