Peterhead were hosts to a Aberdeen team Ferryhill BC. In the first round of the Scottish cup for under 13s

Peterhead were caught napping in the first five minutes when a long ball up field was latched on to by the speedy Ferryhill striker and he finished with the perfect strike past the unguarded keeper.
Ferryhill were up for this game and only a few minutes later Alexander Buchan in goals for Peterhead had to come quickly off his line to halt the Ferryhill striker on the edge of the penalty area.
The game was goiong end to end with both teams battling the rainy conditions and creating some great chances.
On the 15th minute mark Jack Mclean set up
Steven Davidson on the edge of the box and Steven turned onto his left foot and hammered the ball home to draw level.
Scott Leckie was next to try a shot but the Ferryhill goalkeeper was in outstanding form and dealt with it easily
A good move from Kyle Ritchie on the wing was met by Aidan Innes but again the Ferryhill keeper saved it with ease.
Half time 1-1
Peterhead made some changes to start the second half and this resulted in them starting the fresher and within 5 minutes of the restart went in front when Scott Kelly crossed over for
Aidan Innes to get in front of his marker and slide the ball into the corner of the net.
Jason Bain then thundered in an unstoppable shot which seemed  to be screaming past the keeper when the Ferryhill keeper brought off the save of the match and maybe the season when he rose and flicked the ball over the bar.
This gave Ferryhill heart and again at the other end Alexander Buchan had to sprint off his line to break down another dangerous attack for Ferryhill.
Peterhead increased their lead afer some lovely football between Kyle Ritchie and Steven Davidson finished with a pass to
Aidan Innes who slotted it home, to give Peterhead a comfort zone for the last 15 minutes.
Ferryhill were not finished yet an another sharp move from their forwards brought panic into the Peterhead defence and after a goal mouth scramble the striker scored to take the game back to 3-2 with 10 minuts to go.
The huge crowd were being entertained to some great cup tie football an Ferryhill again scored after a corner kick was not cleared and the ball rebounded off the unlucky Peterheqad defender past the helpless keeper.
With every thing to play for now the game was being played at a ferocious pace and chances were going amiss at both ends.
Just as extra time was looming Connor Wilson broke through and his pass was intercepted by the in rushing
Kieran Bruce and to the relief of the home fans drilled the ball over the line to put Peterhead through to the second round of the National Cup
Peterhead BC 4   Ferryhill BC 3
A great fighting display from Peterhead and every player had to dig deep to get this result.
Man of he match went to Kyle Ritchie and the hard working Ryan Urquhart
