This comic is what made Spiderman so different from other Super Heroes of this era. In this issue Spiderman battles the Sandman while nursing a sprainged ankle and worrying about his poor Aunt May who has suffered yet another heart attack. It also features the first appearance of Ned Leeds...who some twenty years later would stumble upon a cache of the Green Goblin's weapons and assume the identity of the Hobgoblin.
