| Even I get fed up with getting cold and wet. So a little Christmas present in December The Victoria Art Gallery let me paint in the room that houses their permanent collection. Because of a Gainsborough on loan the light had to be monitored carefully and sensitive blinds opened and closed in the sky lights to keep the intensity constant so the light did not change that much over time. - What a treat. And it was warm. And of course the people who work there are very freindly and nice. Lucky me! |
