| Flood, Henley 'on' Thames |
| We have seen a lot of water in the last 9 months. I really love painting the stuff as it is constantly changing and proves a real challenge, trying to capture movement etc.. I have just 3 paintings in the show of floods - 2 Henley and 1 Bath. These two paintings of Henley were done in the freezing cold which helped me work quickly. The light was wintry - low and hard. The subject matter really got my heart racing. I loved it! |
