Well -  After battling with lousy weather - I have gotten my "complex" endorsement - this allows me to fly an airplane with retractable gear and an adjustable propeller; yeah!
The plans are huge for flying around the country
(or at least the SE part)...

A little info - - -
The Mooney was created in the 1940's; and was developed as the Caddy of airplanes; both in style/luxury, and in performance.
The mooney, unlike many traditional production planes has superior performance and handling attributes.  It is regarded as the creme de la creme for aviators.
Being a first time owner - I was excited to be owning one of the finest aircraft that (reasonable) money could buy.
It's plus' include retractable gear, adjustable pitch propeller, roomy interior (often times Leather, sorry cows!), superior control and stability; and SPEED which leaves the Cessna's in the dust!

The picture here illustrates just how strong the Mooney's were built - try this on any other plane - and look out below; you'll be sitting on the ground.  This was tested to handle 9.3G's .... to give you an idea - a human body could have 9.3G's for about 1 second before becoming mush!...
