| Peter Pan Alot of people don't know this, but I NEVER EVER wanted to grow up.I hated it from A very very young age and still do to this very day.Even the mentioning of the name "Adult" now still worry's me and makes me stop and think about what on Earth an Adult is suposed to do and say. When I was alot younger in my teens I used to look at some older people, the way they acted and the things they did and used to ask myself "Is that what an adult is suposed to do?Is that how there suposed to act is it?" I REALLY used to LOVE being young and being A kid watching He-Man,playing with my toys and domino set that I had.I remember for Christmas one time Santa brought me this GREAT HUGE domino set and I was thrilled!I was trying to figure out which was the best room in the house to set it up in.I thought to myself "I Know maybe if I take my Matress off the Base and put it standing up.Then just use the Wooden Base to build on that would be good" So that's what I did. After hours and hours carefully placing each domino bit by bit I was ready to knock over the first one and watch them all fall.It was A special occasion, however by that time I was so tired of building all day that I was ready to go to sleep.Besides I Wanted to wait and show my mum the wonderful creation I had made and also to watch all these colourful little domino's fall. But hang on,my matress is standing up and seeing as it's so Big there's no room to put it on the floor cause it won't fit.So how am I going to get to sleep?Would you believe I slept on the floor!Next morning I woke up all ready for the big show and I called my mum in to watch the display. My mum said "Peter that's great! How did you do all that?" I said "Allright here it goes mum" I Knocked over the first little domino and WOW!One by one all these wonderful little clourful dominoes started to fall,it certainly was A sight to see and one in which I'll never forget.I also had this great toy game called "Operation" I'm not sure if any of you remember, but basicly It was A picture of A person's body with varius body parts and you had to use this device which came with it to carefully manuevar your way around the body WITHOUT touching certain parts. If you touched various parts the machine would make A loud "Beeeeeeeep" and then you were out and it would be the next person's turn. Also I Really liked the "Hungry Hungry Hippo" game.A cool game with 4 Actual Hippo's on it!You'd have to collect all the little round balls with your "Hungry Hippo" by pressing the Button atached to the Hippo and then the hippo wuld eat them. Also my "Billy Kart" or some people may call it "Go Kart" I had this really great Billy kart which I LOVED!It had 4 wheels,A seat,A rope atached to the front end for steering and A handbrake,no Engine but you didn't need one.My parents use to take my brothers and I down to this Big Park which had A great track on it where we all used to ride the billykart. It was SO MUCH FUN and I have wonderful memories of those days. When I was in High School I had this Nickname,A school friend kept calling me "Peter Pan" (By the way I Really liked that movie) I wasn't sure if he was just making fun of me or what.Whenever he'd call me he'd say "Hey Peter Pan".So one day I asked him "Why do you keep calling me Peter Pan?" He said "Well you know,Peter Pan the boy who Never grew up" I couldn't have said it better myself. Wrestlemania This Year's WRESTLEMANIA was HUGE and the GREATEST WRESTLEMANIA OFF ALL TIME!There was over 65 thousand Screaming wrestling Fans in the Houston Astrodome which really made the show come alive.I really loved the "Gimmick Battle Royal" seeing alot of the older wrestlers come back like Hillbilly Jim (My Favourite-Don't go messing with A Country boy, such A catchy tune which I still find myself singing sometimes) Sargent Slaughter,Nikolai Volkof and the Iron Shiek,Doink the clown,Kamalah and the Bushwackers. Also how GREAT was it to see 2 Legendary wrestling Commentator's return to the WWF-Mean Gene Okerlund and Bobby the Brain Heenan. The main Event Stone cold steve Austin VS The Rock was HUGE,and I like Everyone was SHOCKED that Austin Turned BAD.Who would have picked it that Vince Mcmhaon Helped Austin to Win the WWF title from the rock? Also still on Wrestling A MAJOR HISTORIC EVENT Happend in the world of Profesional wrestling just Recently.Vince Mcmhaon (Owner of the World Wrestling Federation) has BOUGHT his main Opposition WCW (Who's currently owned by Ted Turner) is this incredible or what? For those of you who are NON Wrestling fans I'll translate it for you nice and simple.Lets say the T.V Station Cannel 7 was WCW and Channel 9 was the WWF.Channel 7 was doing very BAD in Ratings against Channel 9.All the sports that Channel nine has to offer like Cricket,Football and Formula 1 Racing was Beating Channel 7 by A LONG Mile and for A LONG Time and as A result channel 7 was in serious financially difficulty and even contemplating Selling their Station to A New Potentional Buyer. Before you know it Channel 9 Anounces this Statement "We here at channel 9 have just bought our Opposition-Channel 7.Channel 7 is now OWNED by channel 9 and we'll do whatever we want with it.We may just have NO transmision for A while,so you'll just have to watch channel 9 for A while" Get my drift?Vince Mcmhaon Basicly said the Same thing in terms of wrestling when he Bought his Opposition WCW. Happy Easter Here come's Peter Cotton Tail hopping down the Bunny Trail, that's right Boys and Girls it's that time of the Year again when the Easter Bunny comes for A visit.I'll never forget when I was younger in Primary School something really special happend at Easter Time.I was sitting in my classroom with everyone else when one of the Teacher's Came in and said "Ok Boys and Girls everyone come outside now and let's join the Easter Parade" They had A Wonderful Parade with alot of the School Children Dressing up in costumes and also wearing fancy hats, the Mum's and Dad's were there to.It really was A sight to see so many various children all dressed up having the time of their lives and really enjoying life.Once the Parade was over our Teacher took us back into the classroom where apparently something special had just occured.I noticed on my School Desk and everyone elses there was 1 little Easter egg just sitting there. Our teacher Exclaimed "WOW Look at that Children! The Easter Bunny has come and delivered you all A special Easter Egg" I was just in shock thinking to myself, how did he come into my classroom?Where is he now?How could I miss him I wanted to say thank you.I was looking everywhere for him just incase he still was around so I could say thanks.I checked the whole class room back to front, the Back door every where but he was gone.I sat at my Desk looking at this Easter egg in AWE which the Easter Bunny had just Delivered and just couldn't beleive.Later on when I went home I started thinking to myself how could I meet him and say Thank You.I asked my Dad and he told me to Put some Carrots out for him and leave him A letter saying thanks. So that's what I did that night just before I went to bed.I didn't get much sleep that night as you can imagine and when I woke up the next Day to my surprise the Carrots had been half eaten and there was A letter saying "To Peter, thank you for the Carrots I really enjoyed them, here are your Easter Eggs" For that whole Day I just couldn't believe it and was shaking my head that he came into our house and not only delivered me my Easter Eggs but also Wrote me A letter. Other great memories of Easter when I was younger was really looking forward to going to our cousins house and saying hello to them.I remember my Mum use to make these Special Red eggs for Easter because that's the Greek Tradition and when we went over to our cousins house we use to hold A red egg in our hands firmly and crack it against other Eggs which were held by our cousins. After you hit your egg against someone elses,if yours was still in tact and not cracked you'd be the winner. We'd also have this Huge feast with so much wonderful food that was fit for A king and Queen.I also use to go to church at Easter time with my family all dressed up and I remember standing outside the Church with Hundreds of people around holding these candles which were placed through A small Ice Cream cup halfway which protected you from geting Wax on your hands.Everyone was waiting for the Epitafio-I'm sorry but that's the only way I know how to call it.It was this Big Religious throne where by many people would be carrying it around on their shoulders and people would be placing flowers inside of it.It really was A nice sight to see especially at night with all these wonderful candles lit up. Hopefully the Easter Bunny will be good to me this year, who knows I may just even leave A few carrots out just to be on the safe side because I do love my eggs and besides,it's the least I could do to say thank you. All Washed Up Alot of News making the headlines this past week. The current Boxing Heavyweight champion of the world,Lennox Lewis Got knocked out in the 5th Round of his title defense against Hasim Rahman. Thus resulting in Rahman becoming the new Boxing Heavyweight champion of the world. Great to see the Comeback Queen,Jennifer Capriati Beat the number one ranked women's tennis player in the world Martina Hinges, way to go Jen!One of my Favourite Actresses of all time, the Georgous Georgie Parker not only won the Best Actress of the year award, but also won the Gold Logie at this years annual Logie Awards, congratulations Georgie!I used to watch her when I was younger on one of my Favourite T.V Show's,A country practice. The beautiful Georgie Parker certainly has come along way and now is the Best Actress on all Australian television.I think it's only A matter of time before she follows in the footsteps of A former Gold Logie award winner,Lisa McCune and goes from the T.V to the stage. The sexy hot blonde-Lisa McCune played "Maggie Doyle" in one of Australia's highly rated and most sucsesfull telivision Drama series-Blue Heelers.Unfortunatley the show just hasn't been the same without Maggie Doyle, and I really miss that special sparkle which Maggie added.Luckily for me though I've got some old Video's of Blue Heelers (which you can purchase at some supermarkerts) when Maggie Doyle was still present and I treasure those very much. I'll never forget this day as long as I live, because it was just so funny what happend on this humorous day.My friends Andrew,Adam and I all went for A really nice drive to Berowra Waters-which is one of my favourites spots around sydney. It's so nice, peaceful, calm and secluded down own the water there. It really is A picture perfect hideaway from society and the "Rat Race" which is why I love it so much and have so many great memories on my travells there. For those of you who haven't been,I sugest you check it out one day,it really is A sight to see.Anyway My friends and I arrived there and we sat down at the Beautiful Restaraunt which they have there to have some fish and chips for lunch. The fish and chips were SO FRESH and so nice to eat with some lemmon and salt, all this talk of food makes me want to go buy some fish and chip's NOW!Anyway at Berowra they have this really picturess Ferry which takes cars from one side of the river to the other,Adam happend to be driving because he LOVES driving more than anyone else I know and he wants to be A racing car driver.Sometimes I get Headaches from Long periods of driving and I don't really like driving that much because you have to concentrate and keep your eyes on the road. This is where the Famous saying "Who's Driving" came from, because sometimes I just can't stand driving for to long.I'd rather sit back in my car, listen to my Music and relax. If other people want to INSIST on driving for me,well that's fine.So I'd ask my friends who were allready Asking "Peter can I Please drive?".Most of the times I didn't even have to ask, because my friends were argueing about who would be driving. It's strange isn't,you'd think people would be fighting about NOT wanting to drive because it's A hassel, but with friends like Adam around, there will ALWAYS be A driver! When we approached the Car Ferry and the Lady gave us the go ahead to drive onto it Adam slowly drove onto it and did this HUGE BURNOUT ON THE FERRY!Can you believe it?I mean who in your life have you heard that's done A burnout on A Ferry!I was laughing my head off. There's this old saying that goes "Where's there's A will, there's A way" Anyway We all had A really nice time down at Berowra having lunch and soaking up the beautiful atmosphere. After that we left and headed off to "Car Lovers" Another one of my Favourite places to go in sydney.I've had and seen so many waterfights go on in this place with so many of my friends you wouldn't believe! Then Adam put the money in for the car wash and proceeded,he turned the engine off and just waited till the big rollers (The big things that go round and wash your car) came our way to wash and rinse the car.But at that moment, something VERY STRANGE HAPPEND.Something DEFINATLEY wasn't right because the car was FLOODING WITH WATER AND POOR ADAM WAS GETING DRENCHED!Aparently Adam found out the hard way that my car takes water in.The rollers came to Adam's side first and Andrew in the back seat was Laughing his head off!Not for long though as the rollers slowly made it's way to the back of the car where Andrew was siting, his expression turned from Laughter to worry!Next, yep you guessed it people, yours truly was even soaked. There we were, all of us drenched with water but you see Adam DEFINATLEY got the worst of it because he had no knowledge that it would happen and couldn't prepare to shield himself like Andrew and I tried to.You could say that Adam was ALL WASHED UP! If anyone happens to see Adam around, just walk up to him and say "Hey Adam do you remember the day when you Andrew and Peter went through the car wash and you got drenched?" Just watch his face light up! Corolla Days About A week ago now I went to see my physio to get some treatment on my soar and aching tennis elbow, and my very painful and soar right wrist which unfortunatley for me I've developed tendinitis in due to me puting up my website and constant pressing of the keyboard buttons and clicking of the mouse. As I sat there with these wires and pads around my arm/elbow/wrist receiving treatment, one of my personal favourite songs of all time came on over the radio-Flame trees sung by one of the greatest bands this county has ever seen-Cold Chisel with lead singer Jimmy Barnes. It casted my mind back many years ago to the great adventures I had travelling all along the countryside with my friends in my old blue corolla.Travelling to great places from the Blue Mountains,Manly to Meadowbank and the city, and also playing such great songs like one Summer,Rocky and Show No Mercy - without a doubt my old blue corolla was my favourite car of all.One of the more memorable occassions was the time that my friends and I travelled to Manly to see my favourite football team the Manly Sea Eagles take on the Brisbane Broncos. With such great players like - Cliffy, Toovey, Menzies,"Cement" Gillespe and "Spud" Carrol, the Sea Eagles were a force to be reckoned with back in the mid nineties.I'll never forget leaving the ground with thousands and thousands of people and cars jamming the roads trying to leave.I feel sorry for my good friend Andrew who was driving because at that time he was stuck right in the middle of traffic on this very big hill with no handbrake and no mirrors. With Andrew being thrown in at the deep end, this is where he learnt how to drive. Also on Andrew, one day we were down at the football field kicking the ball around when I saw something very special take place.Andrew said "Ok Peter watch this, here's the sideline and I'll go 2 metres out from it" He was setting the ball up for A goalkick and didn't think that placing the ball on the sideline was A tough enough challenge,so he decided to place it 2 metres out from the sidelinde. We were so far back from the goalpost that all I could see in the distance were 2 matchsticks.I know Andrew is A good footballer, but this was A very tough challenge and I wasn't sure if he could get this one.Andrew took A few deep breaths, came up and nailed this ball so sweet that it went hurling through the goalpost BLACK DOT which would make guys like Darryl Haligan and Jason taylor proud. If the Parramatta eels are ever looking for A new goalkicker, look no further than Andrew-he's your man.Other great adventures with my corolla were travelling to Kuragong to see that mouse,Matt the beer drinking freak and Car Lovers. With me still living in Sydney,no injuries,no aches and pains,no stress and worries, these were truly the best days of my life and I'll never forget them. It wasn't until many years later that I realised just how special those corolla days were, and how much they mean to me.Sometimes in life you don't realise how valuable things are until there gone. STOP BEING THE DETECTIVE I was reading A news article in today's paper about Nicole Kidman and how she's had troubles with her mariage break up.So she did what most girls do when there in trouble, she went home to her mum.Great to see Nicole back home, here in Australia. But I was quite surprised to see the media and press jump on her allready because there was A picture of Nicole in A swimsuit when she decided to go to her local swimming pool for A swim in her leisure time.As far as I'm concerned, that's invasion of privacy.I just hope that I don't see more pictures of Nicole whether it be in her house, her bedroom,or even at A local restarunt. If the media,Press are reading this,I'd like to say the following "Nicole's had A hard time of late, she's come home to her family to get away from it all.I DON'T want to see you bastards murder her just like you murdered poor innocent Princess Diana.Nicole is A human being,LEAVE HER ALONE!" I've been A detective, some of my friends have been detectives, some people in society have been detectives, chances are even you've been A detective. But the point is,if you DO get to the "Detective" stage chances are your life will be temporarely miserable and you'll feel helpless. That's why you have to STOP BEING THE DETECTIVE!I'm NOT talking about Magnum P.I,Columbo or even sherlock homes NO I'm talking about people who are trapped in one of those Murderous relationship's,where no matter what their partner does, they allways go back. They Must know where their Partner is 24/7 even after their partner DOESN'T show much interest in them, and is just playing games with their valuable life, leading them on and their partner has them wrapped around their little finger.Firstly I'm NOT intending to BREAK UP ANY RELATIONSHIPS!I'm NOT being Sexist,Girls are entitled to their opinion, their say,But this is MY TIME.I'm A guy and telling this from A Guys point of view because unfortunatley I've been there and Know how Miserable life can be.I'm simply repaying A favour and passing on valuable advice, which has been told to me by good friends.I'm trying to help those people out there who have heard this saying over and over again "Why don't you just forget about her,you DON'T need some little girl screwing you around, besides there's plenty more fish in the sea. There's so many MORE girls in the world, she's just 1 and there's still over A million girls to choose from, why don't you just let it go" In my situation I'd been with this girl for 2 Months and was enjoying life to it's fullest! This girl lived around the Newcastle area, actually A bit further north from here.Anyway I basiclly told her "Listen I want to go and see my good friends in sydney ok.Don't worry I'll ring you in A few days when I'm in sydney to see how your doing,I WILL be back" Well I went to sydney and saw my friends, after about 3 days I rang her up and I said "Hi how you doing,I miss you.Don't worry I'm coming back to see you this weekend" Then she's like "Oh yeah you... Uh this weekend's NOT really A good idea actually" I said "What are you talking about,we're still together, don't worry I'll come up this weekend ok" only after 3 days of not seeing her she then says "Well there's sort of someone else now" I was SHOCKED and Said "What are you talking about? It's only 3 days since we were together,we're still going out" then she starts "Uh yeah well..." then I just said "So let me get this straight,we've been going out for 2 months,I leave you alone for 3 days and you cheat on me?Who do you think you are" She said "Yes well I know we're still going out but yesterday I met this guy and ...um..." Says alot about her Reputation doesn't it.At that point my world just collapsed, bearing in mind only 3 days ago I was with this girl having the time of my life with A HUGE smile on my face.I just hung up the phone and my life changed for the worst right then and there.Couldn't eat, sleep was going crazy thinking to myself "what's she doing now,Who's she with, where is she" I Was the Detective and HATED it.There's NOTHING wrong with being A Detective for A short while, because it's only natural wondering what if... if only.... From that point on I was lost, really upset and Heartbroken. If it wasn't for my good caring friends giving me moral support and help when I was down I probably still would have A big magnifying glass in my hand looking for clues.I Don't EVER want to be A detective again, ringing constantly asking "where is she, what's she doing, when did you see her last" if I only knew back then what I know now,I probably wouldn't even be writing this to you and just watching T.V or something. To think all the money I spent on phone calls, sleepless nights searching for answers REALLY annoys me because I say to myself "How much of my life have I wasted?" But then again if your at this point, think of the Positives,Some people are still out there right now still ringing and still looking for answers. If you are like I was, feel helpless, not sure what to do,ask yourself these questions.Do you really want to be going out with A girl where whenever you turn your back she's with someone else, having constantly to keep checking up on her 24/7 every minute of the day wasting phone call after phone call.Is this really the girl for you?Firstly listen to your friends, ask for their advice no matter how bad things seem. After all they are your friends and will help you when your down. That's what good friends are for, they know what's right for you when your in A different state of mind.Want to get some sleep?Want to be able to eat and have A normal life again and possibly look around for someone NEW and someone who WILL respect you?STOP BEING THE DETECTIVE AND LIVE A NORMAL LIFE! School Days A pinch and A punch for the first day of the month,Winter is here and it sure is geting cold.I'm using my heater in my room to keep me warm, especially in the mornings when it's sometimes freezing! I've just been going through some old School Year Book's and Report cards which brings back so many great memories of my Fascinating School Day's.Most of my School Day's were so much fun for me,no responsibilities,No worries,No stress. As I've stated in one of my previous Letter's "Peter Pan" I really used to love being A kid.Back in Primary School at Jasper Road in Sixth Class I had Mrs. Spooner as my teacher. She was pretty strict and every day we had to do our Times Tables, from 1 to 12.Like 3 x 4,7 x 8 5 x 12...Which is why to this day I have A photographic memory of my times tables.I used to enjoy our class going to the library to see Mrs. Mcgra for reading time and also watching shows like Infinity and behind the news in the Video Room.We used to play Run across and hand ball after eating our lunch in luch time. How can I ever forget my year 8 French Teacher Mrs. Piercy, apart from learning how to say my name in french, which is Pier...I certainly didn't learn much.Infact the funny thing is that one day I asked my French Teacher how to say the word hate and how to say the word French Teacher. It came time for the Yearly French Exam and I really didn't know much french. So on my Exam paper I wrote "I Hate French Teacher's" at the time I was laughing my head off and people were saying "What's he laughing about? This is A Big Exam,PLEASE be Quiet!" It came time for me to get my results back which was PERSONALLY handed to me by my French Teacher and I had to face the music and was trying so hard NOT to laugh and keep A serious face.My French Teacher came up to me,gave me the DIRTIEST LOOK I have ever seen and said to me "Peter,I WASN'T very impressed with what you wrote!" The next year I dropped French,Ok so I'm not fluent in French, although I can speak A little Greek!I'll never forget my Year 9 English Teacher Miss Williamson SCREAMING at me "Peter PLEASE no more story's on wrestling!Write something different for once!" Many people who know me,KNOW I LOVE wrestling and that's what I used to write about. So on this occasion I had to write about something other than wrestling,no problem!I wrote about BOXING!Yes,you know Boxing,in Wrestlemania 2 there was A boxing match between Mr. T and Roddy Piper. To prove it to you,and to read more about Wreslemania 2 click HERE Also in Year 9 I used to love going to sport on wednesday afternoon because I choose to do Roller Skating for sport. We used to go to "The Big Roller" Roller Skating Rink at Carlingford by School Bus.I really used to love Skating around the Rink listening to some great music being played like Funky Town (Suedo Echo) Standing on the outside (Cold Chisel) Beds Are Burning (Midnight Oil).Infact I liked Roller Skating so much that I saved some money up and bought my very own pair of Roller Skates and my Dad took me to "The Big Roller" on the weekend outside School hours, those were great days and I miss them alot! I wonder if "The Big Roller" is still there at Carlingford after all these years?I remember one day when we all had A day off school,I think it was A teacher strike or something like that.I rang up my school friends Michael and Steven and organised for all of us to go to the Roxy Picture Theatre in Parramatta. When we got there we saw this great new movie called "Maniquen".It was about this Maniquen in A department store who came to life.It was A good movie and I'll never forget the great Theme Song at the end of the movie called "Nothing's gonna stop us now" performed by that great 80'S Band Starship, who also had another hit single called "We built this city".My School Friends and I all had A great day and I really loved that song "Nothing's gonna stop us now" Whenever I hear it,it always reminds me of that great day back in the 80'S with my friends.Back in High School I sometimes used to ride my bike to school,it wasn't no ordinary bike,oh no.It was A Malven Star Racing Bike which I myself Converted to A 12 Speed Mountain Bike.People at my High School used to call me "Reflecter Man" because I had so many Reflecters on my bike it wasn't funny.I'm really not sure how it started,I think one day I just decided to add one or two reflecter's to my bike and it grew from there.I remember one day when I had just arrived at school with my Bike at the Bike Rack.A kid walked up to me and said "Hi Mr. Reflecter Man how you going?I've got some reflecter's at home,do you want them?" Some other people at High School used to call me Elvis,it may have been my hair,I'm not sure. I remember one day walking between School Blocks and all these kids yelled out to me "Hey ELVIS!" The head of the Maths Department Mr. Warten who was walking along side me said to me "It looks to me like you've got A Fan Club" Slave Day was another memorable day for me,it was all for A good cause in order to raise money for the School.Although embarasing because the girl who bought me for A slave for one day demanded I go to the Drama Room where she browsed through their Costumes and made me Dress up in one of those clown suits for the day. There I was walking around school holding this girls books dressed up as A clown.I'll never forget spotting A School Friend Johan in the quad (Who was also A slave for the day) who told me to join him by geting up on the table and dance,I said to myself...I've come this far what the hell! I'd do just about anything to go back to my good old School Days just for one day to see my old School Friends. Facing my fears, going to the Dentist My hands have slightly goten better, there not as swoalen, red and soar as they use to be.But that's only because I've been staying away from Computers (Not pressing keyboard buttons and clicking of the mouse for hours and hours like I did from creating my website) I've also been recieving some good treatment on my swoalen and soar hands and also my tennis elbow from my physio Adele who I have to thank so much with helping me battle constant naging injuries like tendinitis.I really wish I gave myself MUCH MORE TIME creating my website rather than rushing it like I did and spending HOURS AND HOURS pressing keyboard buttons and clicking of the mouse to the point where my hands were aching and swoalen.Once again, impatience has caused me injuries. You see people I had all these great ideas about my website, great pictures and stories to tell and I DIDN'T want to lose all that great info I had in my head. Then it came to the point where I had FINALLY finished creating,modifying,re-sizing my website to the right size BUT my hands were so soar, swoalen and aching that I couldn't physically use my computer anymore. It reminds me of A similar situation many years ago when my Grandfather gave me some valuable advice.I had just come back from the Shoping Centre where I saw this brand new beautiful black leather wallet for sale.It was very expensive but I loved it so much,I was telling everyone about it and I really wanted to buy it because the wallet I had back then was pretty ordinary. My Grandfather told me "Peter,if you spend all your money on buying that wallet, you won't have any money left to put in your new wallet" I'm so happy to see the AMAZING SUCSESS of the Comeback Queen-Jennifer Capriati.Capriati has beaten the number one ranked Women's tennis player in the world Martina Hinges three times this year.Capriati has also won two out of the four Grandslam's in tennis this year. The Australian Open and more recently the French Open, way to go Jen!If that doesn't make her number one, nothing will!In A few weeks time Capriati will be going for her third grandslam and the most prized possesion in all of tennis,Wimbledon.I'll be cheering her on all the way. Tomorrow I'm going to have to do something which I haven't done for A very long time,I'm worried and nervous about it.I have to go to the Dentist! To say I'm scared of going to the Dentist is an understatement.Petrified is A better word, when I was really young I remember my first visit to the Dentist. How can I ever forget! After the Dentist had examined my teeth and taken some X-Rays,he told me that he has to do some major work on them.I was really worried and so nervous,Just before he started, the Nurse asked me if I wanted to go to the bathroom.I sure did,I locked myself in the bathroom and didn't want to come out! After about 5 minutes of being in the bathroom the nurse started geting worried,so did the doctor. They started yelling "Peter are you allright? You can come out now,it's ok" I didn't want to come out,I was petrified of that drill that the Dentist uses. After about 15 long minutes I finally came out of the bathroom and my whole body was shaking and I almost fainted. They had to sedate me,put A HUGE needle in my arm which would put me to sleep during the Dental work. There was NO WAY I was going to have A needle!I was screaming, yelling, kicking. It took 6 Doctor's and nurses to hold me down, strap my arm down while they put the needle in my arm.The next thing I knew,I woke up and everybody had gone.My mouth and teeth felt so strange, not painful just A strange feeling. The Nurse came in and told me that everything's ok now,all the work had been done and I could go home.Boy was I relieved to get out of the Dentist's Chair and go home. I'm geting worried allready about going to the Dentist tomorrow.Wish me luck because I think I'll need it! Dealing With Pain I finally had enough courage to go to the Dentist. The hardest part of it for me was the 10 minutes of waiting in the foyer before the Nurse came and told me to come in.I was really nervous, breathing heavy, geting butterflies in my stomach,my heart was beating like crazy and my adrenilen was running wild! When I went in to see the Dentist I told him that I haven't been to see A Dentist for years and I was nervous to say the least. He actually praised me for comming to see him and told me that it's A good start and I've made A good decision.I asked the Dentist is it true what they say,an apple A day keeps the Doctor away?He replied with "It may keep the Doctor away, but NOT the Dentist!" I really couldn't believe how many aspects there were to my teeth. My Dentist had his little mirror and tools examining my teeth left to right, back to front and top to bottom. Also taking X-Rays of my teeth every which way he could,he came to the conclusion that I have A good set of teeth. My second visit to the Dentist was even better than the first one.On this ocasion the Dentist performed A special fluoride cleaning on my teeth (Which I'm meant to get done every 6 months) my teeth feel so clean and their sparkling white!Speaking of teeth did I tell you people what type of toothbrush I use? It's red in colour and it's A Mr.Happy toothbrush with A small picture of him on it.When I was younger going to school I use to love reading the Mr. Men series of books. There was plenty of different characters,Mr. Strong,Mr. Grumpy,Mr. Noisy... My favourite of all of them was Mr. Happy,he always had A big smile on his face just like he does on my tootbrush. The Hard Drive in my mum's computer decided to crash,so I went to the computer fair on the weekend and bought Mum A new Hard Drive.I installed it and now Mum's computer is working great.Sometimes I think I know to much about computers for my own good, which is why my hands are still A little red and soar from spending way to much time on my computer creating my website. If anyone out there happens to have A time machine or know where I can get one, please send me A letter.I'd like to go back in time and Re-do my whole website from scratch giving myself much more time to construct it rather than rushing it like I did and not sleeping for 2 days straight. To the point where my hands were red, soar and aching. You see people I was so excited about creating my website that when I found out about it,I didn't stop till I finished creating,re-sizing and modifying it.Oh yeah and there's A few other reasons I'd like to go back in time for,to change some of the stupid mistakes I've made in my life when I was younger which I'm not proud of.Everybody makes mistakes, nobody's perfect not even me,and I sure have learnt from mine,NEVER to make the same mistake again. From my severly sprained wrist,my tennis elbow,my soar shoulder to the tendinites-Soar and aching feeling in my hands I'm always in pain.I really can't remember the last time when I haven't been in pain.A doctor once told me "Some people suffer from severe back pain, and there's not much they can do about it" it reminds me of an interview I heard not to long ago with A current WWF wrestler. The reporter asked him "All the kicks, punches, bodyslams you take, how do you live A normal life with all that pain?" The wrestler replied with "You get use to being in pain after A while, you just have to live with it" Although I'm not A wrestler I can relate to that because I'm in the same situation. The more I look into fighting against pain, the more dificult it becomes for me.If it wasn't for the pills I take every night to help me get to sleep there's no way I would get to sleep. To much stress, worries, depression and pain DOESN'T add up to A good night's sleep, more like A nightmare. Great Sporting Victories I've just recieved an E-mail from my Economics teacher at high school Mr. Baveas. It's really quite amazing and incredible that he found me and wrote me A letter, because I haven't seen him in over 10 Years.Technology sure has come A long way! I went to the Computer Fair again on the weekend and they really have some great Computer Parts and Accessories for sale at A great low price. When I got there, there was A HUGE line up to get in,I think the Computer Fair's are drawing more and more people because it's so hard to get parts for some older computers nowdays. For me personally I wanted to buy A brand new more Ergonomic mouse for my computer Because my hands have become soar, red and swoallen from constant clicking of my old and worn out computer mouse. With this new mouse it's more moulded to your hand and the mouse buttons are easy to click, not like my old one which you have to press fairly hard for it to work. The new computer mouse Doesn't have A round Ball like my old one,it uses this new Laser technology which makes the mouse much lighter and easier to use.It also has A scrolling wheel on it which makes it so much easier to scroll up and down while viewing text or graphics. The new computer mouse has A PS2 plug,so I needed A PS2 to Motherboard Adapter. My computer does have PS2 support but I don't have the plug on the back,I have pins on my motherboard.I looked EVERYWHERE for this adapter in computer stores but no one had it.I found that plug and many more great Computer Parts and Accessories at the Computer Fair.By the way if you think your Computer mouse is on the way out, find it dificult to use,I suggest you invest in some new technology and try the new "Microsoft Optical Wheel Mouse" .Finally on computers, some people have told me that I'm A computer wiz,A computer freak! For the record I'm NOT A computer wiz,I'm NOT A computer freak,I'm just someone who has an interest in computers and knows A little bit about them. OK OK enough of all this technical stuff, this past weekend has been huge in sporting events, congratulations to the following sportspeople/teams.The Wallaby's (Australia's Rugby team) on beating the touring British/Irish Lions with A great victory in the second test match on the weekend. This sets up A third and deciding test match in sydney this weekend.Even though I don't follow Rugby,it's A huge Australian sporting event which I'm looking forward to see and hopefully Australia will come out on top.The Australian Cricket team on winning their first test match in the Ashes series in England.Steve waugh has always been my favourite cricket player,I've been watching him play cricket for many years on T.V since I was young. He truly is A great Australian Cricket Captain and I wish him and all his team the best of luck on winning the Ashes against England. The South Sydney Rugby Leauge club for winning A HUGE victory in the courts which enables them to compete in the N.R.L (National Rugby Leauge) next year. This truly has been A David and Goliath long drawn out battle for souths, and I'm really pleased to see the hapiness and excitement that this great victory has brought to all their dedicated fans out there,go the Rabbito's! Summing up on this occasion,in sport there can only be one winner.Sure A victory is great, but spare A thought for the loosers, who come so close yet so far.Commiserations to Australia's own Patrick Rafter who lost his final match at this years Wimbledon to Goran Ivanisevic. Also to my favourite and good looking Women's tennis player Jennifer Capriati on loosing her semi final match to Justine Henin. The last Grandslam in tennis this year is the U.S open which will be on shortly, and I wish both of these great tennis players the best of luck. My Bosses car This new computer mouse I'm using is so much better and easier to use than my old one.I really wish I bought this new computer mouse BEFORE I started creating my website, and also planned creating my website giving myself much more time to complete it.Which is why I have ongoing problems with my hands-The soar and aching feeling, the redness and tendinites in my hands which really bothers me every day.For those many people out there who have told me "Peter you should get A job in computers" Thanks for your encouragement and support BUT with the redness, tendinites, soar and aching feeling in my hands as I type this to you,I honestly don't think that I will EVER get A job in computers. I saw this brand new movie on video the other day called "Space Cowboys" I really enjoyed watching it especially with some of the greatest actor's in motion picture history staring in this film.Clint Eastwood,James Garner,Tommy Lee Jones Going back over 5 years now when I used to live in sydney, when I used to be happy-injury free, stress free, worry free and enjoying life.I was working at this factory job in Castle Hill in the industrial area.My Boss told me that he had A job for me which involved me driving his Car to deliver some products for him to somewhere in Sydney. So anyway I drove off with my Bosses car,and as I was leaving the Castle Hill area I spotted my friends walking along the side of the road. What A coincidence that my friends just happend to be there at the right time.I stopped the car and said "Boys get in let's Party!" My friends were like "Pete who's car is this?Where did you get this from?" I said "It's my Bosses car and I've got it for the whole day" From the moment I picked up my Bosses car and now cruising with my friends,I felt like A little kid with A big toy.I did so many burnouts one after another, every time the car stopped I did A burnout.I remember my friends were laughing their heads off and I was to!It got to the point where I had done so many burnouts, the tyres were just about bald and I really thought the engine was going to blow up!I remember Bob siting next to me saying "Hey pete look at the temperature it's on hot!" The car was overheating and it wasn't funny, luckily Bob told me because I was having so much fun I didn't even notice it.I was really geting worried now, then Bob said "Hey Pete why don't you pull over on the side of the road, let the car cool down while we play A game of soccer!" Great idea Bob,so that's what we did. There we were my friends and I playing A game of soccer in WORK TIME on the side of the road while the car was cooling down from doing so many burnouts. Now that's what I call FRINGE BENIFETS!After A game of soccer we were off again, but do you think that I was finished from doing burnouts?I was just warming up!I eventually delivered the products to the right place and after A fun filled day with my new toy it was time to go back to Castle Hill and return my Bosses car.I dropped my friends off near their home and they all said "Thanks Pete" with A HUGE smile on their face (: But you see the day wasn't over yet.I was About 5 minutes away from my work and the car started having troubles driving, and I didn't think I could make it back no joke. The car had A Manual gearbox, and when I stoped at the lights, put it in first gear then released the clutch to take off,the car was barely moving not going anywhere.Just reving so high when the cluctch was FULLY OUT and no joke the car was just crawling at about 5 KMPH.I think that from doing so many burnouts I had just about worn out the clutch!Luckily I was just up the road from my work and the car crawled into work barely making it.There was A lot of noise from the engine reving high and there was plenty of smoke around! When I parked the car outside my work,I spoke to A mechanic who believe it or not was next door to my work.I rushed up to him and asked him "Do you know what's wrong with this car? It's blowing smoke, reving high and not going anywhere" He just looked at me said "Sounds like you've done the clutch to me!" My body started shaking and MAN WAS I WORRIED!I asked him how much it would cost to fix?I think he told me around $500 including A new Clutch,Parts and labour!Luckily for me my Boss wasn't around at the time.I quickly ran into my work put the car keys on my Bosses desk and raced to my own car, drove home ran into my bedroom, jumped on my bed pulled the blankets over my head and I was hiding! This was A very memorable day for me in which I'll never forget, and I'm sure my friends won't either. The next day I reluctantly went to work to face the music,my Boss spoke with me about his car not working, one thing led to another and I lost my job.Oh well there's plenty more jobs out there.Infact it wasn't to long after this that I got another job working at Wendy's serving ice creams. But that's another story for another time ... I'm an original Due to my red, soar and aching hands which have tendonitis, from overuse on my computer creating my website-Constant pressing of the keyboard button's and clicking of the mouse this will be my last letter.Apart from my severly sprained wrist, tennis elbow, soar shoulder and aching hands which have tendonitis, unfortunatley yet again I've suffered some more crippling injuries.About 2 weeks ago I had just come back from the shops and I opened the door to find our Dog charlie barking his head off going crazy so happy to see me.The moment I opened the front door he charged out and made A run for it.I chased after him,but I leapt into the air about 5 feet jumping off the stairs and came crashing down with all my weight on my left leg and jarred my knee.I finally got our dog back inside, and after about 5 minutes my left knee started aching with pain and I was limping.I went to see my doctor and my doctor told me that I've strained all my ligaments and muscles in my knee, and I also have jarred my knee to the point where I just about can't put any weight on it.If you think that's bad,you haven't seen anything yet!Just A few days ago now the weather outside was really bad raining and blowing A gale.My new oarning which I recently bought outside my window was taking A beating from the strong winds and I really thought the wind could have ripped my whole oarning down. When I bought my oarning the salesman told me he would give me A big long boat hook so I could roll my oarning up if it was raining or there were strong winds. But you see people I really wasn't sure how to physically roll my oarning up and unfortunatley I've seriously injured my lower back and right knee in trying to roll my oarning up with this boat hook.I went outside grabed the boat hook, hooked the end of the boat hook around this little hook on my oarning and with all my strength I physically pushed up as hard as I could trying to roll my oarning up.But it didn't budge,I tried again with all my strength and my lower back and right knee started geting saw.On my third atempt (and I REALLY HAE TO SAY THIS) I put my back into it and used every single bit of strength I had and all of A sudden I felt this aching pain in my lower back and my right knee gave way and colapsed on me.I found out later that I was pushing the WRONG WAY!It was just like pushing against A brick wall.I rushed to the doctor and the doctor told me "The discs in your back have slightly come together and you've got A pinched nerve!DON'T lift anything heavy".I then went to see my Physio Adele who treated my soar and aching back, and also taped me up.I asure you people I have had many injuries in the past but NONE LIKE THIS!As I sit here writing this to you with my back all bandaged up,my lower back and my right knee are both aching in pain and when I walk along my right knee just goes on me and I can't put any weight on it.I may have to have an X-Ray on my aching back to see if I've cracked A disc. Some people have told me I'm A walking time bomb ready to explode and A disater area.I honestly can't remember the last time I haven't been in pain and haven't been injured.Due to all my injuries I was thinking about investing in some private health fund like M.B.F or Medibank Private, but if I was to tell them the long list of injuries I've suffered in my life,I don't think they would cover me.In the last 2 years of my life I've been to more Doctor's,Physio's,had more X-Rays,ultrasounds than most people have in their whole life.I've always said I'm an ORIGINAL,I do what I want, dress the way I want to regardless of the fashion or "What's in".I listen to the music I want to,but being an ORIGINAL,sittng here in front of my computer writing this to you in aching pain having suffered multiple crippling injuries,I'm still trying to decide if being an ORIGINAL is such A good idea, you be the judge.
