The weather was very cold for most of January and February 2004. There were several spots where frost heaves affected the track. These pictures were taken on February 16, 2004. |

The board holding the track on the right has been lifted about two inches and bent the track at the joint. |

Frost has lifted the trestle pier. In the Spring, this will be easy to push back down. |

This spot seems to lift up every winter. Repair is just a step away - after the ground thaws! |
