| This was the second snowfall of the year, but the forecast was for snow changing to rain. I made sure to get the trains running while it was still snowing. Good thing, since it changed over to sleet and rain just after these pictures were taken! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| The Eggliner clears a path in front of the station. If we get one line open before the rain hits we'll be happy. The mail must get through! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| There were a few drifts, but the Eggliner was able to do the job with very little help from the Big Hand In The Sky. Right after these shots were taken, it zoomed ahead into the shed and crashed into a cut of cars! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| The 44 tonner was ready to go with a short train so I let it venture out. Under the pine trees the snow was a bit lighter but very picturesque. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| As the train approaches Rising Sun, the engine is pushing along a growing pile of wet snow. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| As the train approached a spot not yet cleared by the Eggliner, it was obvious it wouldn't get through. By the time the train backed up and entered the shed, the snow was turning to sleet and the fun part was over. By nightfall, it had turned into a steady rain that melted all the snow you see in this picture. That evening we went to the Mason Dixon RR Club's Christmas Dinner and ran the Budd car on the Club's Modular Layout. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
