[home] Modular Layout Photos - 12/27/04
Visitors enjoying the modular layout.  The family on the right is studying Walt's amusement park.  The little boy in the back is pointing at something excitiing.  Maybe it's Santa Claus!.
When I got there, Joe was running his U.S. Marine Corps military train.  Here you can see mobile rocket launchers and helicopters.  There were plenty more.  The train was pulled by a pair of USA Trains GP9's, in olive drab of course, with a nice sound system.
When Jeff and his family arrived for the 6-to-9 shift, they unloaded these interconnecting lightweight cases which held lots and lots of trains.
Interior view of one of the cases.  The box is made of 1/4 inch luaun plywood, with half-inch styrofoam pieces separating the trains.
