It's pretty cool to find some info on you guys. I was introduced to your music in college in '86 by a friend from Hawaii who was attending college with me in San Antonio. I always wondered what happened to the band. Your music is very cool and I have turn d others onto it as well. I play guitar as well and your arranagements are very much in line with what I enjoy playing. I look forward to hearing some of the unreleashed music you guys made. It is nice to see these guys still being remembered. I came from his neighborhoon in Ewa Beach. I can still remember all the times they played in Campbell High School as Saber and as Sacred Rite. Being a band student it reinforced my playing and inspirati n. All my heros were in Hawaii...Marty Friedman, Mark Kalewahea, Frank Paulino, Shawn Fujimoto. All these guys were over the top and Awesome. Thanks for the Tribute to a Great Band

Thanks for a hell of a great time when i was 15& 18 years old listening to your albums, and hope to hear from u guys soon. Like a small tour through Holland and Germany. SR is still big over here,no shit. 1th album's good for at least a 100 bucks. Think about it. If not , thanks anyway for all the good times. Mick

Dear Peter, Thank you! Back in the mid 80's I had a metal radio show on a Connecticut college station and played the HELL out of Sacred Rite's debut lp and "Is Nothing Sacred?". I remember how much I loved those albums and always wished that I could somehow get a opy of them. Well, rest assured, once I can afford it I will buy the cd-r's along with a video or two. Now I have closure, as corny as that may seem, since I have always wondered what the hell happened to you guys! No longer! Thank you! Very Sincerel , Scott Watkins

I just discovered your site not too long ago and I was in Ft. Worth Texas when I discovered Sacred Rite w/ the album Is Nothing Sacred and the version of the Beatles' Elenor Rigby (rockin' version by the way, I kept it for awhile until I got my entire col ection robbed from me by an ex gf that didn't even like the music I listened too let alone me, after she's the one that told someone else that she wanted me, but then that's over with by five years so I hope she has a real good life, I never even got to s e her naked! I stumbled onto this site by chance and I'm glad to know there are still SR fans out there. I've been on the net for a few years and never found much info on SR, until now. I'll never forget the first time I saw the SR promotional poster for "Is Nothing S cred" on the wall of my local music shop back in '86. I had never heard the music but was so taken with the album cover that I bought the cassette based just on the artwork. To my amazement, the music was every bit as good as I'd hoped. We used to have a ollege radio station that played metal for 3 hours on Monday nights and I called every week and bugged the DJ until he finally got the album and played it on the show. He immediately became swamped with SR requests! I still have that original cassette and listen to it often. The song "I Will Survive" is particularly personal to me because it encourages me when I'm down. I recently got dumped by the love of my life and that song seems to help me deal with it just a little bit better. I was never fortunate e ough to get the first 2 albums but I will certainly order the 3 cdrs and the 2 videos ASAP. There were alot of '80s bands that I never understood why they never hit the bigtime and SR is at the top of that list. I've met very few metal fans that ever even heard of the band and that's a shame. GREAT band that deserved much more popularity. Glad the memory lives on in a few of us.

I was REALLY Excited to see this site. I Still very much love the excellent music of Sacred Rite! What a Band! They just don't make bands like that now. It's wrong. I really wish they could have reached more people. I Have always had Sacred Rite On hand to turn on to people. Great Songwriting, and a REAL band of musicains to pull it off with feeling and power. I was pretty bummed to hear the story. I have always wondered what happened to this kick ass band... I been through the club scene touring trip. That band was WAY too talented for that shit. Regardless of all that, I would really love for those guys to know how much there music has done for me. The've been one of my top favorite bands for years....I could just never find out anything about them. I have spent many great times with the lights out, Candles and inscence going....with SACRED RITE's unique blend of music just pumping and soaring nice n' loud from the speakers. ...............and I still DO! The Spirit and Music of SACRED RITE is still very alive in my heart, and always will be. and also, EVERYONE I have played the albums for, have always walked away....blown away. Thanks guys for such great music...Thanks for the Site.....I wish you all the very best in the future I will always have the music of Sacred Rite in my musical mind and heart. A REAL BAND!!!!!! Thanks Again..........Take me to the kingdom! Take me away! To The Kingdom.

I was wondering if you might know a Zach Peterson. I think he was related to Mark K. My sister and him had a serious relationship for awhile and is actually the reason that I got into guitar. (and listened to you fellah's for that matter) If there is anyway to be notified when you have a CD availble (spe?) I would love to know. Thanks Mucho Eric
