"...still the life flowed on and on"

UPDATED July 15th

Eastside Milwaukee, June,'01

Welcome to my site... Since I own so many different compact discs, I thought that it would be a great idea to review some of my purchases and let you know what I think about my selections.

I probably won't have too many bad opinions about the cd's that I buy, but I do come across a few here and there that don't exactly meet my expectations.

My tastes are pretty diverse. I listen primarily to rock, 60's through today. I'm a major fan of 60's bands (Beatles, Who, Hendrix, Stones, etc.) so don't be surprised to see reviews on re-issues and greatest hit collections. I also enjoy blues, jazz, alternative rock, and "ambient" types of music. I am VERY much into the local MILWAUKEE music scene, so if you live in or near this area expect to see many reviews on local bands and singers.

Do NOT expect to see any reviews on heavy metal, rap, country, hip-hop, or "souless" pop that seems to be the norm with today's music!

My goal is to get a few people out there to listen to some great music that they probably wouldn't consider in the first place.

This week's review is The White Stripes: "Red Blood Cells"

Last week's (month really) review was Rush: "Vapor Trails"
