What Made You Decide To Keep Your Duck Inside: She fit right in with the other animals and the clean up was fairly easy. How Tamed:Duckie didn't really need to be tamed, since he was just a few weeks old when I took him in. He came from a large family; his mother had 17 other duckling in tow. I kept him in a shoebox by my bed the first few nights, until he eventually learned to climb out and explore the bed. He got along fine with my elderly dog (now deceased) and my two cats (both deceased), one of whom he imprinted on and who taught him how to swim. I built him a large open wood pen, which I kept in the kitchen (he liked to stare at his reflection in the oven door) but when I got my two new dogs I built him an elevated enclosed pen in the bedroom, which he uses today. I'm trying now to get Ritz to stop biting my poor dog in the nose. Sally
(the dog) is a black lab and she is absolutly terrified of Ritz. Took him to
a nursing home Easter Sunday when I first got him and a couple other
times since then and all the patients absolutly LOVED him. It really made
