The Yankees have had a busy offseason thus far.  Manager Kmiecik is trying to ship Manny Ramirez out of the Bronx, with possible destinations of Chicago, Boston, or on the other side of New York with the Comets.  The Cubs will have to give up at least one of their first round draft picks and possibly more to have a chance of Manny playing at Wrigley next season.
According to some sources Boston is also interested but it would most likely go down in a three way trade which would include the Cubs if Manny was to end up in Fenway next year.  Early rumors of a Manny for Michael Young trade to the Comets have faded in recent weeks but the possibility is still there.  If the Yankees are unable to trade Manny before the draft, they will be looking to fill some holes on the left side of the infield in the early rounds of the draft.
Manager Morois has also been busy proposing various trades this offseason.  A deal nearly went through to send draft picks and pitchers too the Massacre for 1B Derek Lee, but the Massacre called off the deal before it went through.  Craig's Cubs turned down another trade which involved both the Yankees and Massacre.  Manager Morois has  been trying to get Manny back to Chicago, but has been unsuccesful thus far.  As it stands, he has two first round picks, which may be used for help in the infield or a possible 4th A pitcher if still available.
The Massacre have been in the mix of the trade talks with Craig's Cubs and the Yankees, but have got nothing accomplished so far.  The Massacre need some help if they want to make another good run this year, and trading Derek Lee might be the key, if they can get enough value for him.  The going price for Derek Lee will cost you more than an arm and a leg, but if someone decides they need a top notch first baseman and decides to trade with the Massacre, Boston will have a pretty good team going into the season.  Boston does not have a first round pick(traded to Craig's Cubs) , so they will have to see whats left in the second round to try to address a couple holes in their roster.
The Lengers have also been quiet this offseason, but rumors swirling around L.A. have them drafting an A pitcher in the first round and then picking up  catcher A.J. Pierzynski in the second or third round.

They are the defending champs, but they need help, and lots of it.  Right now the Comets seem to have 2 servicable players, Johnny Damon and Michael Young.  J.D. Drew will not have a card this year according to our sources.  Even worse is the fact that they don't have a draft pick until the last pick in the first round(8th overall).  There will probably not be much left as far as star players go, so the Comets are going to really have to rebuild before the start of the season.   But hey, they won it all last year and started with nothing so who knows.  One way they can add some key players is to trade Michael Young.  He is very valuable because he can play shortstop which is a weak position in this years set of cards.  Rumors have been swirling about Michael Young going to the Yankees possibly for Manny Ramirez, but other teams are bidding on Young as well.
The Maniacs have been quiet this offseason, and their roster is basically set.  Rumor has it that they will take Turnbow with their first round pick to anchor down their bullpen.
The Wallbangers took last place last year, but they look to be in decent shape for the 2006 season.  They already have an A pitcher on their roster, Halladay.  Bonds and Thomas do not have cards, but they do still have Guerrero, so the Wallbangers will probably not be in the market for a big power hitter.  They will most likely take another A with the number one pick in the draft, but a trade is not out of the question.
The word on the street is the Stallions will take Giambi in the first round, a player that was a member of the Stallions in 2004.
