Welcome to the official website of Phi Eta Sigma - Alpha Lambda Delta chapter at Cal
State Long Beach. Here you will find information about the honor society and its
activities. Meetings for PESALD occur on the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30 om in
USU 304.
Phi Eta Sigma - Alpha Lambda Delta is really two honor societies in one! Over a decade
ago the executive boards of both honor societies met together to propose a merger of the
two groups on the CSULB campus. The rationale was that there should not be two competing
honor societies on campus - that members should have the opportunity of gaining the
privileges of of each of the present national organizations.

- This site won the ALD Outstanding Web Site Award! All sites linked to the National
web site were reviewed twice this year for the following criteria: useful information for
current and prospective members; accuracy of information; up-to-date with current events;
ease of navigation; and overall design.
