I am something called "Straight Edge." There are a lot of things that I don't do. If you met me you would probably think that I didn't live by these choices but I do.
- I don't drink. I have a father that ddrunks atleast 6 days a week. I have seen him so drunk he can't even walk. I have had nights where I am up all night with him cuz he is shaking, crying and throwing up at the same time. I love my father with all my heart but I hate this drinking problem. He started this when my mother left when I was 6 years old. No matter how depressed or how fucked up I am in the head I will never have one drink touch my lips.
- I don't smoke. Ciggs cause cancer andd cancer causes death. I want to live as long as I want. I have kidney problems and I don't need my liver going too. I don't want black lungs, I don't want yellow teeth...no amount of white strips can clean that up. I don't want to stink and I don't want my breathing to mess up.
- I don't do drugs. It doesn't matter wwhat drug you do it still fucks you up. You take them until you need a different and stronger drug to satify you. I have worked hard for my grades, my smarts and my apperance. I don't want it going down the drain all at once. I will let it happen naturally then influence it.
- I don't have random sex. That means II don't go out with someone I don't know have sex with me. If I have sex it is with someone I love. I wait a long time to even do that.
- I rarely drink soda. When you drink CCoke, Pepsi, or any type of drink like that it makes you addicted. There is this chimical in you that is the same what is in soda and when you replace that chimical with soda your body craves soda.
I have been questioned on why I live straight edge but this is me. Get used to it.
