City of Peru Tornado siren test takes place first Tuesday of the month at approximately 10:30 a.m.
To report a malfunctioning siren please call Peru ESDA at 815-224-3517.
Reminder: Tornado sirens are outdoor warning devices!!! For warning while indoors, please monitor a weather radio or local radio station. Do not tie up phone lines to emergency service departments as this may lock up phone systems making it impossible for actual emergency calls to get through to the proper departments. Your cooperation is appreciated!!
