GORGEOUS PROFILES

WHO ARE WE AND WHAT DO WE DO

The Perth Strikers first formed in 1994 to compete in the World Masters Games held in Brisbane, Australia. The Strikers won a bronze medal at that event and since then have gone on
to win a medal at each event they have participated in.
The Masters Games concept is arguably the fastest growing and most popular of International and National Sporting events. In 1994 at Brisbane, some 26,000 competitors from a vast array of sports gathered in Brisbane for the World Masters games. The Australia and Asian-Pacific Masters games (which Perth Strikers have competed in), have attracted
numbers of competitors in the thousands.

Masters Games have built their reputation on not only the level of competition, but also the environment which competitors compete in and where the emphasis is on participation and enjoyment.
socialise. The social atmosphere of the
games is something that competitors keep coming back for year after year.
Perth Strikers have also built a reputation for not only our ability on the park but the friendliness and support with which we bring to the competition.
Perth Strikers are always there to cheer on other teams competing and are always willing to "shoot the breeze" with other competitors including attending all social events.
