Introduction
������� Perth AE86 is not a racing club,
but is a club where owners of AE86 share a common interest, which is AE86!!!
AE86 is more commonly known as Toyota Sprinter, it also is link to AE85 (due
to engine specs). Within the Toyota Sprinter family, there are two type of
models, TRUENO and LEVIN (ref to AE86 specs).
Birth
������� Perth AE86 begun in August
2001 by three AE86 owners, Robin, Alex and Vit. Vit was the first owner among
the three, followed by Robin and Alex. One fine Sunday afternoon, three of
them suggested that they should start one AE86 club in Perth, as there is
none. They believe that there are many AE86 owners and fans in Perth. In fact,
the first thing we advise member that upon joining Perth AE86, members are
not to compare whose AE86 is faster, better or more powerful. But instead,
meet together to share their resources, interest, tips, experiences, advices
and also, of course friendship. This club do not organize or recommend ILLEGAL
RACING, HELL DRIVING or any similar actions!!!! But maybe just safe DRIFTING!!!!
������� This website was officially "on
air" since September 2001, soon after the club has had it's first gathering.
For the beginning, there is nothing much in the website to show as�Perth AE86
is still a baby compare to other car clubs; and AE86 clubs in other cities
and countries. But as time goes by, more pictures, news, members and information
will be updated. So keep coming back for more. As for those AE86 owners, if
you wish to join us, just sent us your email and we will be more than happy
to keep in touch with you whenever there is any program.
There is no joining fees nor long term commitment but we do expect to be loyal
to the club so that this club will survive as long as AE86 cars can last...
