At 8:30 a.m. on August 14, we gathered at CCCC in Hyannis. It was a beautiful, sunny day. We took 4 cars to the UMASS Boston campus to park for the day. We took a shuttle bus to the JFK/UMASS T station. We took the Red Line 4 stops to Downtown Crossing, then changed to the Orange Line one stop to State Street, and changed again to the Blue Line one stop to the Aquarium. Then we took the catamaran out on the ocean to Stellwagen Bank to see the whales. We reversed all of these steps to return to CCCC at 6:30 p.m. It was a very long, very beautiful, very memorable day!
