| The lost son pf professor Hojo, his true name unknown, he renamed himself Tristan, and was raised by various families in Midgar before he left for bigger things. With no formal training, Tristan watched many warriors do battle, and developed his own blade fighting style, Naturally he was led to the Gold Saucer, where eventually he spent years watching the fights. Fighting with all the winners and losers, he knew how to beat in combat, he made a very successful living. With all this training, Tristan has a very natural ability to analyze weaknesses in both people and organizations and exploit them with ease. Upon his estranged father's demise, he turned his anger toward Shin-Ra for reasons still unknown to most. He is relatively quiet, and very calculating in his action... not one to give in to rage or arrogance. A most valuable, ally, for both fighting skills and analysis.
