*3 red candles
*A Tuesday! (preferably)
*A red piece of paper
*A new moon (preferably)
*Some basil
*3 leaves (just some you found on the floor outside, try to avoid picking them and, if you do, ask first!)
*Some caraway
Light all three of the candles. Take the piece of paper and, looking at the moon (if you can see it from where you are), fold it 3 times and place it in front of the middle candle. Grind the basil between your fingers and let it sprinkle onto the middle candle flame, so it burns, but leave a little bit for later. As you do this, chant "Make me open to love, as I look to the skies above" 9 times. Take the leftover basil and sprinkle it on yourself. Now do the same with the caraway. Blow the candles out, keep the piece of paper somewhere safe and tidy everything away.
