Plum cake with Streusel Dough for one big baking pan (ovensize): 200 g (7,05 oz) quark Blend all the dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Make a deepening in the middle. Add all the other ingredients to the deepening, combine there and slowly mix with the dry ingredients. Form a ball. Spread onto the greased baking pan. Cover generously with plums. Streusel: 250 g (8,82 oz) all-purpose flour Blend together flour and sugar in a mixing bowl. Add butter or margarine, cut into the flour-sugar mix. Make a crumble mixture. Spread it over the plums. Bake at about 180°C (350°F) until the Streusel are golden brown. You can use apples instead of plums, too. If you cannot find Quark or if it’s too expensive, I’d propose a mixture of half yogurt, half creme cheese, since Quark probably resembles creme cheese most, but has less fat. Just try it out and tell me if it works! (I hope I converted the grams and °F correctly.) Good luck with baking!
