Buxom and powerfully built, Varella Obajian bears the unmistakable stamp of Saldaea on her features, with soaring cheekbones, titled eyes and an aquiline nose. Varella's features are somewhat softened by that peculiar ageless quality of her sisterhood, yet she is a fierce woman within. Her dress is rich saffron-colored velvet, in a simplified Maradon style, slashed with cream at the sleeves, and richly worked in brown silken embroidery making out leaves and acorns around the scooped neckline and in wide bands at her hems. A fresh collar of Marada lace brackets her jawline, and more adorns the tight cuffs. Her belt of soft brown leather is hung with a large purse, as well as her gilded belt-knife. Varella wears a necklace of rare golden pearls around her neck, spilling across her pleasing expanse of bosom, and the Great Serpent ring gleams at her hand. A heavy cloak of tawny summer-lynx is pinned at her shoulders, lined with pale yellow satin.
