Curvaceous and fulsome, with a swelling bust-line and wide hip, Nomiya Isagad is matronly woman, with a ruddy genial face, and bright merry eyes. Her black silky hair is shot with white, and trimmed to fall on level with her cheekbones, with the back loose and long, tied off with a ribbon of green silk. Once the heiress of a proud Shienaran house, Nomiya ran off to the White Tower upon the eve of her wedding. She wears a riding dress of lustrous emerald silk, cut in the style of her native homeland, with a high neck, and a fastened up the side with buttons set with jade. Small white flowers, each one centered upon a small pearl, line her collar and trim a border at her waist. A slender, curved knife hangs in the hollow of her waist, a silken tassel swinging from the hilt. A thick cape covers her finery, and steel-backed riding gloves sheath her hands. Despite the tell-tale signs of age in her hair, Nomiya seems youthful in appearance, or at the least not old. Indeed, it is difficult to place an age to her, for she bears the ageless countenance of an Aes Sedai, although the wisps of white in her hair indicate she is very old indeed. Despite her not-trim figure and serene demeanor, her movements are quick and vigorous, and she can summon the bellicose intensity that makes her one of the most fearsome sisters of the Green Ajah.
