Dark as one of the Sea Folk, with skin the color of polished mahogany, and glistening black hair, Cersella Santanes is clearly Tairen born. Of middling height and plump, she is unexceptional in appearance but for her dazzling hazel eyes, bright as coins displayed on brown velvet. Ageless in that it is hard to suggest an age for her, the thick band of white just off center of her widow's peak, hinting that for an Aes Sedai, she is old indeed. Cersella wears a riding dress of simplified Tairen tailoring, with narrow, divided skirts and a small ruff of creamy yellow Cosille lace. The dress is cut from honey-hued silk, and worked in a lovely pattern of lotuses and leaves across the bodice and in a wide buffer around the hems picked out in golden thread. Her hair is worn swept back and up at the top of her head, clipped back by a comb of glossy sardonyx, to spill midway down her back. She wears a necklace of heavy golden links around her neck, festooned with shining sunstones, and the Great Serpent ring shines bright on her dusky hand.
