I like portraying a colorful world. One that is energized with 3-dimensional tones, reality and fantasy, emotion and intellect. There is a need for balance in life to elevate the senses and to experience the full potential of life. I hope people can use my art to dwelve into the mystery of their souls and their own imaginations. I aim to convey emotion to the viewer through symbolism (whether religious,political,social or personal) as well as with the aid of color, movement and found objects.I am concerned with portraying the subject's emotional personality as well as their physical attributes while working with the interaction of colors in a abstract style. -Amanda, Feb. 2002 |
