Pizza frittas (fried dough)

(from Grandma Rose)

If you can buy fresh dough that's great. Otherwise you must take two cups of flour (not cake flour) and some yeast. Follow the yeast directions and put it into the dough, adding a little water until the dough comes to not a too soft dough but just one you could handle. Also add a little salt to the dough. By the way you know you have to kneed or keep mixing this dough to get it all together. Let the dough say for about two hours or whatever the yeast directions say it takes to rise; cover the dough dish with a dish towel. When the dough has risen and it is ready for you to take little pieces, make small round pieces (make it so with your fingers); then in a frying pan with oil take each little piece you make and press it down with a fork, first on one side and then on the other side. When the dough has browned on both sides, you remove it with a fork and put it on a dish and it is ready to eat.
