Miele and cheese bread

(from the back of a Metalix grilling product)


Yield: 1 large loaf (like 1 3/4 loaves)

4 cups self-raising flour
1 can (410g) whole kernel corn (drained)
2 ml salt
2 cups milk
50 ml butter/margarine (melted)
1 1/2 cups chese (grated)

1. Lightly grease a large loaf tin.
2. Mix together flour, corn, and salt.
3. Mix in milk and butter.
4. Add half the cheese and stir thoroughly.
5. Spoon the mixture into the loaf tin, then sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
6. Bake at 190 C for 1 1/2 hours.
7. Switch off the oven and leave bread in there for an additional 20 minutes before turning out on a wire rack to cool.
