Best ever hamburgers
(from a book by Spar)
Yield: 6 hamburgers
500g lean beef mince
250 ml (1 cup) oats
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
30 ml (1/8 cup) chutney
salt and milled pepper to taste
oil for frying
1. Combine hamburger ingredients and season well.
2. Shape into 6 flat patties.
3. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry patties over a medium heat for 5-8 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
